But it is common for children who are institutionalized to be 6 months behind for every year institutionalized or something close to that and I finally figured that Gabby's behavior is that of an 18month old, or at least she acts like my friends 18 month old.
Says "no" to everything even when she knows that she is suppose to obey and mom will make her. And she is getting into EVERYTHING! I am not use to this as my three other children were never into getting into trouble all day long. So we have some adjustments to make, getting use to how Gabby gets about her day.
Aaron on the other hand (her older brother by 3 months), while he is two, acts developmentally like a 3 year old.
So rather than raising two two-year olds, I am raising an 18 month old and a 3 year old. :-)
